- Abstract
Domestic violence or domestic violence still occurs in many households in Indonesia, both urban and rural areas, including in Karawang. On this basis, PT Pertamina EP Tambun Field initiated the Karawang Berseri program. This study aims to: (1) Analyze the role of companies in minimizing domestic violence through the Serial Karawang Program; (2) Analyze the impact of the Serial Karawang Program, both from social, economic and ecological aspects. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The primary data used were obtained through field observations and interviews. Secondary data was sourced from reports and publications related to the program. The research was conducted on August 2022 in the Village Karawang Kulon Village, West Karawang District, Karawang Regency. Based on the study results, this program has provided benefits, both from social, economic, and environmental aspects. The impact of-economy can be seen from the additional income obtained by the community. The increase in group income came from the proceeds of waste sales, resellers and hydroponic cultivation within one year to support financing for handling women and children victims of violence. The social impact can be seen from the strengthening of the institutional capacity of the Karawang Berseri task force. The impact on the environment can be seen from the activities of waste management through Waste Alms carried out by the Karawang Berseri Task Force Group. The key to the success of this program lies in the participatory empowerment model in planning, implementing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating it. The dialogue approach to building awareness in the community is also a driver of the sustainability of the Karawang Berseri program.
