- Title
Online Teaching and the COVID-19 Virus: An Essential Guide!
- Authors
Sull, Errol Craig
- Abstract
For some this is business as usual: faculty who have already been teaching online, and company employees who are used to giving distance learning training, holding distance learning meetings, and giving distance learning reports. Certainly, you are in charge of the class, but remember you are teaching a student-centered class - it is all about the students. Be sure you respond to all student inquiries within 24 hours (you don't want a student to feel he/she has been overlooked or forgotten); COVID-19 may put additional constraints or difficulties on a student where the student needs to reach - and hear from - you immediately.
