- Abstract
The article offers information on a the role of systemic corticosteroids in managing severe or refractory orbital cellulitis in children. Topics discussed include treating paediatric orbital cellulitis with systemic corticosteroids and antibiotics; higher maximum C-reactive protein levels in patients treated with systemic corticosteroids; and faster clinical improvement in the patients treated with steroids.
