The article focuses on the historical development of international law and the international movement toward protecting and regulating the dealings of cultural property. It mentions that the drafting of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) adopted by General Assembly of United Nations to protect the rights of indigenous peoples. It also mentions that French governance and its legal framework regarding cultural property.
