The article offers information on Magness v. State related to second-degree escape for a person who is released on a bed-space bond. It mentions that Magness who was convicted of two non-violent crimes was released on a bond of 25,000 U.S. dollars until the bed space become available in Arkansas Department of Corrections (DOC). It further states that since Magness was released from police custody under section 16-90-122, he was not guilty of second-degree escape.
