- Abstract
Don DeLillo, an American writer, in a short essay entitled In the Ruins of the Future, explained that threatened international terrorism societies must create a narrative response against the terror. The principal aim of this paper is describe, understand and interpret what kind of rhetoric strategies (narratological, tropological and argumentative) has used in the Spanish literature and journalism in this kind of counter-narrative. The results showed that it is necessary redefine the Lone Wolfe Terrorism concept attending to the rhetoric and argumentative construction in the social discourse.
