- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 58-year-old man who was admitted to a hospital due to 5-day nausea, right upper quadrant pain and 3-day jaundice and fecal discoloration. After series of examination, he was found to have a large cystic mass with multiple intracystic loculations. He underwent open cholecystectomy and was given oral albendazole. Later, he was referred to Hepatology Department for further management of his chronic hepatitis C. Discussion on echinococcal disease is also given.
