- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 20-year-old man suffering from hemoperitoneum and liver laceration. He also had multiple rib fractures, pelvic fractures, and minimal right hemothorax. He was diagnosed with Abdominal Compartment Syndrome through ultrasonography and measured the intraabdominal pressure after the dilation of his abdomen. An 18-gauge needle and 16-French pigtail catheter was administered. Through the French pigtail drainage tube, 3 liters of altered blood was collected.
