- Title
The O.J. Simpson Trial - A Total Eclipse of Forensic Procedure.
- Authors
Rigle, David A.
- Abstract
The article discusses the failed use of the forensic procedure in the O. J. Simpson Trial in the U.S., which led to the acquittal of retired U.S. football player O. J. Simpson in 1995. It says that U.S. lawyer Johnnie Cochran left 15 unanswered questions including the mystery of the bloody socks, the hefty burden of proof was imposed on the prosecution team to address. The author says that he did not believe the questionably effective reasoning of Cochran, which left behind a strong image of Simpson struggling to squeeze his big hands into the small murder gloves.
