- Abstract
The author explores the concept of translanguaging in the proposed implementation of gender justice in language education and applied linguistics. Topics discussed include the raciolinguistic ideologies that need to be acknowledged in language education, the language practices of bilingual and multilingual transgender people, and the possible use of translanguaging in addressing the gender marginalization being experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people.
