- Title
Blaming Soros for Campus Protests is Anti-Semitic - Just Ask Israel.
- Authors
DILAWAR, ARVIND
- Abstract
This article discusses the criticism faced by students in the United States who have been protesting their universities' support for the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza. Right-wing pundits have accused these students of being "paid protesters" in the employ of philanthropist George Soros. The article argues that this conspiracy theory is not only absurd but also deeply anti-Semitic. It cites an example from Hungary where the government ran a campaign vilifying Soros, drawing on historical and contemporary threads of anti-Semitism. The article also highlights the weaponization of anti-Semitism by Zionists, who defend those who peddle anti-Semitic conspiracy theories as long as they support Israel.
