- Abstract
The article focuses on the study conducted to examine atomic force microscopy experiments on individual blood platelets. According to the experiment the dynamic contractile response to varied stiffness of the substrate. It also states that the blood platelets aggregate to form clots that staunch blood loss and seal the area of damage. It has identified that the platelet receptors, blood components, and cytoplasmic proteins involved in the formation and retraction of clots.
