- Abstract
The article cites several effects of heavy metal toxicity or mercury poisoning. It relates that mercury reduces the effectiveness of antibiotics against bacteria, can cause cardiovascular damage, and is considered as an endocrine disruptor. Several methods to be used in discovering heavy metal toxicity includes blood and urine analysis, hair analysis which reflects the condition of the person, and muscle testing which indicates if the metal is presented in the body.
