- Abstract
The budding lesbian relationship between two precocious schoolgirls in Cuba is interrupted by Fidel Castro's revolution. One girl moves to Miami to become a successful business woman, the other stays behind on the island to help run the National Ballet Company. They meet again 20 years later and try and renew the affair, but the revolution has gotten in the way. Can lesbian romance overcome politics? This production by Macha Theater breaks new ground.
