- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case Michigan v. Bryant, subject to the confrontation clause. The defendant was convicted on the second degree murder and possession of firearm during the commission of a crime. The defendant appealed to the Supreme Court of Michigan, alleged that the victim's statement in trial court violated the Confrontation Clause of the U.S. Sixth Amendment. The statements in the case were made with the intention to get the police help to arrest the criminal.
