- Abstract
The article discusses the history of Natural Heritage Inventories. It offers information on Natural Heritage Program (NHP), an autonomous organization in the U.S., and some of the main differences in several state programs including North Dakota, Idaho, and Wyoming. It recommends that states can publicize their NHP and encourage energy project developers in making energy policies. It informs about the U.S. National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, dealing in matters of environmental law.
