- Title
CLASSROOM CONSTRUCTION OF RELIEF MODELS.
- Authors
Holtgrieve, Donald; Piazza, Frank A.
- Abstract
The article reports on the use of relief model construction as a classroom activity in Junior High Schools in Hayward, California. This method is probably as old as the study of geography itself. While the motivation for model making remains unchanged the materials and techniques for doing so have improved considerably. This article offers a professional technique for making terrain models. The advantage of the method is its accuracy and low cost.
