- Abstract
The article highlights the experience of a black girl with religious conversion. It presents her sacramental redemption and her utterance that the Lord her rock, her soul and shied. It shows her encouragement to people to lift their souls and keep their faith. It depicts her thought about her solitude, as the spirituals of old stirred her inner spirit. It narrates her repentance and confession for all her sins, whether they are mortal or venial to a priest. It also exclaimed her prayer to the Lord.
