- Abstract
The article cites a study that systematically reviewed the participation of racial and ethnic minorities in clinical trials of antihypertensive drug therapy. It also evaluated racial differences in the efficacy of these therapies for preventing cardiovascular outcomes. One trial reported that angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors were equally effective for preventing stroke in both Asians and non-Asians.
