- Title
On Modeling the Composition Dependence of the Bulk Viscosity of Immiscible Polymer Blends.
- Authors
Chang Dae Han
- Abstract
The article focuses on the composition dependence of immiscible polymer blends' bulk viscosity, which was obtained using a plunger-type capillary viscometer. The study revealed that the morphology of immiscible polymer blends cannot be treated as being equivalent to concentric, alternating multilayered laminate structures as it is dispersed. The author suggests the use of finite element analysis to establish rheology-morphology-processing relationships in immiscible polymer blends.
