- Abstract
The article focuses on new employment laws in New Zealand. It mentions the changes enacted to the Employment Relations Amendment Act 2018, which includes prohibition on employers with 20 employees or more from including 90‐day trial periods in their employment agreements. Other updates include the Domestic Violence—Victims' Protection bill, which became law on April 1, 2019 and the Equal Pay Amendment Bill. It also presents updates related to decisions of Employment Court.
