- Abstract
This article analyzes the enforcement actions taken by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) against small uncrewed aircraft systems (sUAS) operators, commonly known as drones. The study aims to understand the FAA's enforcement process, including the most frequently prosecuted regulations, the timeline of enforcement cases, and the typical civil penalties imposed. The article fills a gap in the existing literature on FAA enforcement of sUAS regulations. The given text provides an analysis of FAA enforcement actions against sUAS operators, examining relevant data and case files. The study highlights the most frequently prosecuted regulations, the timeline associated with enforcement cases, and the typical civil penalties imposed. The authors recommend increasing public outreach efforts, incorporating enforcement process education into training curricula, and further research on the FAA's use of its Compliance Philosophy in sUAS enforcement cases. The given document is a list of references cited in an article titled "An Analysis of FAA Enforcement Actions Against sUAS Operators." The references include various sources that provide information on topics such as drone regulations, airspace ownership, public perception of drones, and the legal and safety implications of drone operations.
