- Abstract
Educational judgment is a kind of teachers' practical judgment ability to make rational choices and actions. Educational judgment needs to reconcile the relationship between educational principle and its situation through rational and effective practical reasoning so as to achieve the reflective balance between universality and particularity. With the characteristics of both principle generality and situational sensitivity, educational judgment has put forward specific requirements for the cultivating of teachers' judgment. However, there is an unreasonable trust in rule-based reasoning in current teacher education, which forms a wrong model of mechanical understanding of the relationship between rules and situations. In this regard, case-based reasoning teaching is a more effective educational strategy. It not only confirms the priority of situations over rules, but also combines the application of principles with the change of situations, so that teachers' judgment can be exercised and improved in case-based reasoning.
