- Abstract
Wang Nan's Cultivating Both Oneself and Others : An Interpretation of Ye Lan's View on Teacher systematically interprets Ye Lan's research process and basic propositions about teacher based on the two dimensions of history and logic, demonstrates Ye Lan' s critical reflection on the traditional views and con-notation reconstruction in teacher role, teacher value, teacher development, teacher quality and teacher education on the basis of the educational concept of " teaching the world and cultivating life consciousness" and the value pursuit of " gaining achievements and becoming a man", and answers the basic educational questions of "who the teacher is", "for whom the teacher is"and "what the teacher is".
