- Abstract
«Introspection in the Convergence of Art and Neuroscience». Considering that Art is one of the highest expressions of mental activity, unique to human and sublimation of our interpretation of the world; a better understanding of the neurobiological processes of artistic creativity could bring new key elements of the genesis of the artist's work. Numerous recent scientific evidence in the field of neuroscience on the nature of memory have revolutionized the understanding of subjective mental processes of memory, remembrance and creative synthesis; and suggest the need to shift the analysis to the first person (introspection) to give a truer vision. This article is a reflection on the important challenge of the translation of these new neurological evidence to Art through introspection, innovative vision more in line with the science of our time.
