- Abstract
The article discusses the relation between the resettlement policy of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic (ASSR) and the U.S.-based Sebastatsi hometown association Pan-Sebastia Construction Union to raise funds for return migration to the ASSR. Topics include the 1933 assassination of American Apostolic Church Archbishop Levon Tourian by the dissident group Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), World War II relief efforts, and the work of the group Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).
