- Title
The spectral theory of anisotropic linear viscoelasticity of polymers.

- Abstract
The spectral theory of anisotropic linear viscoelasticity of polymer liquids is developed on the basis of the spectral decomposition of the relaxation tensor, which characterizes their anisotropic rheological properties. A definition of fading memory for anisotropic liquids is given. The oscillating shear and tension flows of liquids with uniaxial anisotropy are considered. The dependence of their dynamic characteristics on the direction is studied.
