- Abstract
In order to endow cotton fabric (CF) with various properties, copper metal-organic framework (Cu-BTC) was combined with CF.Cu-BTC/CF composites were prepared by loading Cu-BTC on CF using layer by layer self-assembly method. Its adsorption, UV protection and antibacterial property were studied. The results showed that adding nano-Al2O3 and cationic surfactant 1631 during the preparation process the quantity and uniformity of Cu-BTC on CF could be improved. The adsorption decolorization rate of Cu-BTC/CF composite for methylene blue was reached 97% and could still be reached 79% after repeated use for three times. The UV protection factor (UPF value) of the Cu-BTC/CF composite was reached 100+, and the bacteriostatic rate against E.coli and S.aureus were more than 99%. It is considered that loading Cu-BTC on CF can endow CF with various functions, such as adsorption, UV protection and antibacterial.
