- Abstract
The properties of a multicomponent blending thermal flocculus were discussed. 70% viscose fiber, 20% super fine polyester fiber and 10% biocomponent polyester fiber were used as the raw material. A new kind of thermal flocculus was produced with needle-punched nonwoven process. The thickness, air permeability. filling power, compressibility, compress recovery ratio, moisture penetrability and warmth property were tested. Then they were compared with mulberry silk flocculus, wool flocculus, cotton flocculus and three-dimensional crimped polyester flocculus. The research results showed that the thickness and filling power of the thermal flocculus is lower while the compress recovery ratio, air permeability, moisture penetrability and warmth property were better. It is considered that the thermal flocculus has better compress recovery ratio, warmth property and physiological comfort. The production cost is lower. The viscosity fiber with a major proportion also has better biodegradability.
