- Abstract
The concept of caring is foundational in nursing and nursing education. A replication study was conducted to describe faculty behaviors of caring identified by nursing students enrolled in an online Registered Nurse Baccalaureate Completion Program in the fall of 2022. The Student Perspectives Online Survey was distributed to students to identify and rank faculty caring behaviors. Three themes including empathy, individualized/timely feedback, and clear communication emerged. The results of this study validate previous study results that identifying and integrating pivotal online caring behaviors assist faculty to increase connectiveness to nursing students.
