Restoration and rehabilitation start with stopping the damage.
- Authors
McDonald, Tein
- Abstract
In this article the author reflects on ecological restoration and rehabilitation movements. He comments that although the restoration movement has come a long way, the level of activity is not yet enough to inspire society to meet the conservation and restoration challenges ahead. Appreciating the documents of the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) on ecosystems restoration and how it is intimately involved with human culture, he says that such efforts may help stop the damage.
