- Abstract
The paper shows that it is possible to construct quantum chromodynamics as a rigorous theory on the basis of employment of hyperbolic unitary group S U h (3) , which is a symmetry group for the three-dimensional complex space of the hyperbolic type. Such an approach allows researchers to discover a profound connection between conserved color charges of the quarks and the symmetries of the hyperbolic three-dimensional complex space. Further, it allows a correct introduction of the Hermitian operators to describe the eight gluons, which are carriers of strong interactions.
