- Abstract
The article reports that Mozambique is expecting is cashew nut production to exceed 85,000 tons in 2007-2008. This is 10,000 tons more than the figure for the 2006-2007 campaign despite the devastation caused by cyclone Jokwe which hit one of the most productive cashew areas in March 2008. Cashew Promotion Institute director Filomena Maiopue said the Mozambique has produced 75,000 tons of cashew in 2006-2007.
