- Abstract
The article presents information on the HIV/AIDS Treatment Information Service unveiled by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National AIDS Clearinghouse. The service aims to assist people living with HIV disease, their families, friends and health care providers. Moreover, the service was developed through an effort with the U.S. Public Health Service in order to provide information about federally approved treatment guidelines for HIV/AIDS. In addition, the service also provides answers to questions concerning the treatment of HIV disease as well recently approved drug therapies.
