- Abstract
The article focuses on the impact that artists from the millennial generation are making on the contemporary art scene in China. Particular focus is given to curators and critics who are particularly interested in artworks created by those born after 1980. Various artists are profiled including Guangzhou-based figurative painter Sun Yu, the photographer Fan Shisan and the media artist Lu Yang. Additional topics include the art website NeochaEDGE, the 2010 art exhibition "As We Talk About Art, What Are We Talking About?," and the artists' collective Museum of Unknown.
