- Abstract
The article offers the authors' insights on the use of personal orientation for preservice and in-service music teacher education. The authors say that personal orientation is defined by K. Carter and D. Anders as a type of personalized teacher education focused on self-efficacy, values, and teaching style. The authors also mentions three methodologies for music teacher preparation program including methodologies for exploring self, school contexts, and teaching and learning.
