- Authors
JONAS, GEORGE
- Abstract
The article examines what possible outcomes would have been achieved had Untied States Secretary of State Henry Kissinger served under the administration of U.S. President George H. W. Bush rather than U.S. President Richard Nixon. The author explores how U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East would have differed. It discusses how Kissinger would have dealt with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and if the U.S. would have invaded Iraq in 2003. The author discusses Kissinger's realpolitik approach to international affairs and how his policies could have impacted U.S. foreign affairs.
