- Abstract
The article discusses a research study on the description of new species Erythraeus walii from collected larva found in Sorghum halepence in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. Collected were mites larvae from Cynodon dactylon and Sorghum halepence leaves then preserved in ethyl alcohol, examined under a phase contrast microscope, identified and measured. Results include descriptions of holotype larva including Dorsum, Venter and Gnathosoma. Dorsum is described to have an oval-shaped idiosoma with a length of 391 mictometres from chelicerae tips to posterior idiosoma pole while Venter has one pair of sternalae and ventral setae setulose has blunt ends and the cone-shaped Ganthosoma is 20 micrometres in length without the finely barbed supercoxalae.
