- Abstract
The article provides information on the features that helped the Congregation Beth Israel in Walla Walla, Washington to flourish. They include the siddur, which is their prayer book, the keepa and tallit, which are considered to be the proper decorum, and the role of women. It also features several Judaism festivals celebrated in the town, which include the Passover, High Holy Days, and the Sukkot. Furthermore, the rituals during weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and confirmations are further cited.
