- Abstract
The article focuses on the political career of David Arnold Croll in Windsor, Ontario. The success of Croll in the Ontario parliamentary elections and his appointment as the Minister of Labor proves his popularity in the community. He has been profiled as the first Jew to be designated for a mayoralty position in the Canadian city. However, he encountered several obstacles before reaching his position because he was a Jew. Despite of all criticisms, he became a model of the municipal government and was known to be one of the finest Canadian mayors.
