- Abstract
The article examines the neurological complications of HIV infection and AIDS in children. It cites statistics which reveals neurological involvement in 50-60 percent of children with central nervous system (CNS) involvement. The article describes neurological complications in children with HIV infection and recommends a multidisciplinary for the treatment of children with CNS involvement. It explains that management should include symptomatic treatment of pain, seizures and spasticity.
