- Authors
Rychlak, Susanna
- Abstract
The article discusses the admissibility of living-victim photographs in murder trials in America, and it mentions the Tennessee legislature's passage of the state's Victim Life Photo Act in 2015 which allows a district attorney general in a criminal homicide prosecution to use an image of a victim while alive to show the general appearance and condition of the victim while he or she was living. Juror bias and unfair prejudice are examined, along with the U.S. Federal Rules of Evidence.
