- Authors
Leas, James Marc
- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the campaign finance-related case Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, and it mentions how Vermont can take action to restrain the impact of corporate finance on American elections by updating the recusal rules of the Vermont General Assembly's House of Representatives and Senate. The Nevada Commission on Ethics v. Carrigan case involving legislative conflict of interest recusal as a method to prevent corruption is assessed.
