- Abstract
The article focuses on anti-suit injunctions governing the jurisdiction of courts in Great Britain. It reflects restraining parties from instituting or continuing proceedings in a foreign jurisdiction. It discusses the role of the anti-suit injunction within the European Union that has been diminished by European law and the European Court of Justice. European law influence on the law of Great Britain includes anti-suit injunctions to restrain proceedings within and outside the European Union.
