- Abstract
The article offers solutions for impact-resistant house construction that can cater high-wind events. It suggests the use of structural concrete insulated panels since they come with foam insulation. It considers insulating concrete form blocks as a great choice for the high-wind zones. Autoclaved aerated concrete, wood framing with hardware and bolting down the corners are also recommended.
