- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of somatostatin receptor (SSTR) PET/CT imaging in the evaluation of multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) patients. Topics include the superiority of SSTR PET/CT over anatomical imaging in detecting pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (panNETs), the clinical impact of SSTR PET/CT in changing patient management, and the potential of SSTR PET/CT in personalizing surveillance programs and predicting disease progression in MEN1 patients.
