- Abstract
The article discusses the growing prevalence and treatment of the preventable community-acquired infection called urosepsis. It refers to the Public Health England data that show the significant rise in hospital admissions and mortality rates for Escherichia coli bacterecemia. It recommends future actions needed to establish whether primary care clinicians are ready to tackle the growing problem.
