- Abstract
This article discusses legal development in the areas of pension fund investing in Canada as well as the legal framework for defined benefit pension fund. It explains that plan administrators in Canada should ensure that their plan is compliant with regulatory requirements. Plan administrators should also be able to navigate the country's capital market. Plan administrators can protect themselves by understanding the legal framework that applies to pension fund investing and establishing an appropriate governance structure.
