- Abstract
Servant leadership is a research field with growing attention in the literature. The objective of this study is to assess the influence of servant leadership on job satisfaction and psychological capital. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and explanatory design was used in the Mexican export manufacturing industry. It was found that servant leadership fosters the psychological capital dimensions and promotes employee job satisfaction. fierefore, it is recommended that companies encourage behaviors associated with this leadership style among their leaders. In future work, it is recommended to explore the effect of servant leadership on variables such as empowerment and organizational citizenship behaviors.
