- Abstract
The authors discuss the different candidates of target-selection schemes to evaluate the feasibility of the structure of human α-helical transmembrane proteome. The authors identify and clustered the sequences of human α-helical transmembrane proteome and assess the efficiency of two target-selection strategies compared to the nine Protein Structure Initiative (PSI) membrane-protein centers. Result showed structural characterization of 100 new protein families.
